Wacom Cintiq 27QHD (DTK-2700) Pen Display

The Cintiq 27QHD is the pen-only member of the 27QHD pair. Panel, pen and drawing area are the same as the Touch model; what is removed is the capacitive touch layer, and with it the cost of paying for gestures you may never use.

For many professionals that is the right trade. Illustrators who work with keyboard modifiers and the supplied ExpressKey Remote rarely reach for pinch-zoom, and some prefer a surface that cannot register a stray palm at all. What remains is the same 596.7 x 335.6 mm canvas, 97% Adobe RGB coverage and 1.07 billion colours at 10-bit.

Note that the specification here is the shared 27QHD platform specification. The two models differ only in touch, which is why they are documented together by Wacom.

Pen Only or Touch

Choose the DTK-2700 if your shortcuts live on the keyboard and the ExpressKey Remote, and you would rather not have a touch layer at all. Choose the DTH-2700 Touch if pan, zoom and rotate by hand are part of how you work. Everything else about the two displays is the same.

Where It Sits in the Range

This is a previous-generation display. The current 27-inch model is the Cintiq Pro 27 (DTH271), which moves to 4K at 3840 x 2160 with DCI-P3 98% coverage and Wacom Pro Pen 3, and includes multi-touch as standard.
