Streamline your workflow and transition to a seamless, paperless environment with the Wacom DTU-1031 Signature Display. It is the practical choice for organisations that want on-screen document signing without surrendering desk space.

With its 10.1-inch LCD, customers can clearly see the contents of a document and sign with confidence — the key difference from a small signature pad, where the signer writes in a box and reads elsewhere.

Because it can double as a second monitor, the DTU-1031 earns its place on the desk between signing sessions. The application software of the Signature Set is sign pro PDF. The software allows electronic registration of handwritten signatures and their integration into PDF documents. The software not only records the signature image that is displayed on the tablet or screen, but also the non-visible biometric data such as pressure, travel and speed. Subsequently, the document and the signature can not be modified and are protected securely. Then, the document can be saved, printed or sent.

  • The DTU-1031 is the ideal solution for corporate or institutional customers who require a display with a minimal footprint that still allows users to view or fill out full-size documents and sign them electronically.
  • Operating as a second monitor when not in use makes it a more flexible fixture than a dedicated signature pad.

Built for Secure Electronic Signatures

  • The display captures handwritten signatures with their biometric characteristics rather than as a static image, which is what supports later verification.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Wacom DTU-1031?

A 10.1-inch signature display with a deliberately minimal footprint, letting customers view or fill out full-size documents and sign them electronically at a counter without surrendering desk space.

Can it be used as a second monitor?

Yes. Between signing sessions the DTU-1031 can operate as a second monitor, which makes it a more flexible fixture on a desk than a dedicated signature pad that sits idle.

Why choose a signing display over a signature pad?

A signature pad shows the signing area, not the document. A signing display shows the whole page, so the customer reads what they are agreeing to on the same screen they sign on. If your documents are read elsewhere — on paper or a monitor — an STU pad is smaller and considerably cheaper.

Is the DTU-1031 a current model?

It is an earlier model in the DTU family. For new deployments the DTU-1141B offers Full HD resolution on a similar footprint, and we will compare the two against your documents rather than defaulting to the newer one.

Are signatures captured on it legally valid in the UAE?

Yes. Electronic signatures are recognised under the UAE Electronic Transactions and Trust Services Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 46 of 2021). Signing displays support compliance by capturing the biometric characteristics of the signature alongside the visible mark.

How do developers integrate it with our application?

Through the Wacom Ink SDK for signature for capture inside your own application, or the sign pro PDF API where you want complete PDFs signed from an existing CRM, ERP or document system. If you would rather avoid development entirely, the sign pro PDF application handles it as installed software.

Does the pen need batteries?

No. The cordless pen is battery-free, using Wacom electromagnetic resonance technology, so there is no charging routine for staff and nothing to replace over its service life.

How much does the Wacom DTU-1031 cost in the UAE?

Ask us for a current quote. Pricing depends on quantity, whether a sign pro PDF licence is bundled and any integration work, and we price hardware, software and development as one figure with UAE delivery and local support.
