Wacom DTH-1152: Interactive Multitouch Monitor for Consultation and Signing of Electronic Documents

Multi-touch Professional Tablet – 10.1″ Full HD Multi-touch LCD Screen with Hard Surface

Wacom DTH-1152 Interactive Multitouch Monitor for Consulting and Signing Electronic Documents, the most detailed, portable pen display for organizations trying to introduce electronic document review, completion and signing. With its combination of industry-leading pen input from Wacom and a multi-touch screen, the DTH-1152 offers organizations including banks, hospitals, insurance firms and public sector agencies an improved way to make signing documents paperless and user-friendly.

DTH-1152 features a bright 10.1-inch full HD screen to present documents within its small footprint. Using touchscreen capabilities, users can scroll, pan and zoom intuitively, making it easy to review the document. You can annotate, fill out and sign documents with the pen on paper. Driven by Wacom’s patented electromagnetic resonance (EMR) technology, the pen captures protected biometric signatures when paired with compatible signature software.

Additional features make DTH-1152 a top option for organizations trying to remove paper while signing documents. The hardened, anti-glare surface is highly durable, making the screen easy to read in various lighting conditions and gives a tactile feeling of writing on paper. Wacom’s innovative 3-in-1 cable design implies minimal installation clutter while offering standard USB and video (HDMI and VGA) connectivity. The standard video connectivity offers more versatility in a number of virtualized desktop setups, while the DTH-1152 can also simulate a serial USB connection to support legacy virtualized environments.

Wacom also introduces state-of-the-art RSA/AES encryption to ensure safe and stable transactions are conducted by securing signature data transmitted between pen display and workstation.

“With DTH-1152, we endorse paperless initiatives

By providing eDocument analysis and eSignature capture best-in-industry solution,” said Peter Sommer, Senior Vice President, Wacom Business Solutions. “We built on our successful family of compact pen displays and added features to the DTH-1152 that make presenting and signing electronic documents even easier and more intuitive.”

Thanks to its high-resolution screen, if not used for document review and signing, the DTH-1152 can be used to display slideshows and videos for promotional, advertisement and other purposes – further enhancing investment returns.

DTH-1152 joins DTU-1031X, DTU-1141 and DTK-1651 in Wacom’s eDocuments and eSignature pen show portfolio. Wacom’s range of software development kits (SDKs) allows developers to incorporate signature capture support into their applications using these pen displays.
